You can watch this without leaving your faith
If your home is Catholic or Christian — or your kids are growing up in more than one world — this page is for you. The Gita is a Hindu scripture. We will not pretend it is the Bible. We will show how a family of faith can receive it as sacred story, moral courage, and wisdom — with respect for both traditions.
What this is
- A story of a person in crisis who must choose duty with a clear heart — like any of us facing a hard good.
- A teacher who stays with the friend when fear arrives — friendship, courage, conscience.
- Cinema you can sit back and feel — gold light, epic soul — then talk about at the table.
- Optional practice later: breath, stillness, kindness — never required to replace Mass or prayer.
What this is not
- Not conversion. Watching is not “becoming Hindu.”
- Not a substitute for baptism, Mass, or your parish. Those stay yours.
- Not “Jesus was secret yoga.” We don’t erase either tradition with cheap mashups.
- Not pressure on kids to choose one identity overnight — hospitality first.
A simple bridge (not a force-fit)
Words can rhyme without becoming the same. Parents can say: “In our faith we say it this way; in this story they say it that way.”

How to watch with a child
- Watch first as story — “This is one of the great stories of India.”
- One question after: “When have you been scared to do the right thing?”
- Keep your family prayer. This can sit beside it, not on top of it.
- If something feels off, pause. You are the parent. The app is a guest in your home.
